SearchAssist offers Standard and Enterprise plans. The Standard Plan comes with a free trial access and the trial is auto-activated on sign-up. The trial access includes almost all of the Standard plan’s features for a limited period.
Subscription to the Standard Plan is available via self-service flow on our cloud instances. This plan includes a predefined number of records that can be indexed and number of search queries. Enterprise Plans are bespoke plans that we customize to suit the needs of our customers.
A query in SearchAssist accounts for any search request made to our Index which includes searching for a query, live search, applying filters and selecting facets. Query Suggestions do not count towards the usage of Queries. The Standard Plan comes with a query limit of 100K queries per month.
A record is a single object stored in the SearchAssist.
The definition of “Record” for each file type is given below,
- Webpage: A single webpage is considered as a record
- File: Each page in a pdf, docx, txt & ppt is considered as a record
- Image: A single png, jpg, jpeg image is considered as a record
- FAQ: A question and answer pair is considered as a record
- Structured Data: A single record in CSV or JSON file is considered as a record
- Bot actions: As per platform pricing
- Connectors: If content is ingested via a connector:
- File: (PDF, docx, xlsx, ppt, txt, jpg etc) is considered as a record.
- Confluence: A confluence article is considered as a record.
- ServiceNow: A ServiceNow article is considered as a record.
- Sharepoint: Document definition as given in above points.
- Zendesk: A zendesk article/ticket is considered as a record.
We understand that every business is different and their needs will be different. Our Standard Plan allows overages to accommodate higher usage volumes. You can choose to opt-in or opt-out of the overages as per your business needs. Overages are charged separately as part of the subsequent month’s billing cycle.
If you opt in for overages, once you exhaust the standard plan query limits, you will be charged query overages at the rate of $25 per 50K queries. For example, a user has a Standard Plan with a monthly query limit of 100k and has opted in for overages. If the query usage in a month was 140k (100k Plan Queries + 40k Additional Queries), then the query overage cost will be $25 for the additional queries.
You can upgrade to the Standard Plan directly from the SearchAssist platform. Visit the Manage section in your application and navigate to the ‘Plan Details” and choose the ‘Upgrade’ option.

SearchAssist offers comprehensive subscription plans without the need for additional subscriptions or licenses for using specific features. With one subscription, you will be able to index data from various sources like webpages, catalogs, FAQs, connectors and more.
All amounts paid for our subscriptions are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to lack of usage, or change of mind. We reserve the right to change our prices in the future, and we will provide notice of any such changes in advance.
