Bots built on Kore.ai’s Platform support an omni-channel approach, meaning customers and employees can communicate with digital systems in the same ways they already engage with a brand or other people. Unlike building a chatbot for a specific channel, the Kore.ai Platform allows enterprise developers to build their chatbot and its underlying tasks once, and adjust the channel-specific UI elements or bots’ responses as desired.
The Platform provides a different approach to building bots that can live across channels. Bots built with the Platform can be designed for omni-channel deployment and used with a single bot configuration. With the Bot Builder and our pre-built channel connectors, a developer designs chatbot tasks once, and can easily deploy that bot across channels by simply checking a box, or the developer can choose to differentiate cross-channel experiences by altering message responses or leveraging channel-specific UI elements like date selectors, carousels and more, without having to repeat all the underlying development work.
Channels supported: Web and Mobile SDK (JavaScript, iOS and Android Java), email, SMS (Twilio), Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Cisco Spark, Workplace by Facebook, Microsoft Teams, Skype, and Slack. The Kore.ai Platform also has a RESTful Real Time Messaging (RTM) API that enables the communication of varying channels with the Platform using web sockets.
