Hundred Year Lens, July 18, 2024: Earlier this year, one of the biggest AI funding events took place when a group of high-profile investors including Nvidia poured $150 million into a little-known AI startup called Kore.ai. Long before OpenAI began promoting its Scarlett Johansson-style AI conversational chat assistant, Kore.ai founder and CEO Raj Koneru and his company had already solved many of the issues around practically deploying AI as a human assistant.
